Random thoughts about single parenting, parenting, homeschooling, dealing with chronic illness, going back to college, working while trying to survive...just every day stuff. Just stuff that plagues me during the course of my day. Probably nothing of lasting interest to anyone but me.

Ruby Tuesday #2
Cafesjian's Carousel is located at Como Park in St. Paul, MN. I took these pictures last June while on vacation. The carousel has 68 horses and was built in 1914. It was rescued at auction in 1988 and restored.

I'm feeling giddy like a young kid and excited to get on it :)
Hi Minky(do), I like your carousel horses, I would like to have one. I do have a plastic Hobby Horse I might use as one.
Thank you for peeking in on my baby quilts. This is a nice project for us.

I love these old carousels !
Lovely old-fashioned carousel.
These photos are so beautiful and represent the magic of childhood memories for me. How wonderful that it was rescued.
Beautiful pictures of the carousel!
How wonderful that they restored this carousel! It is a beauty! And I love the little touches of RED! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
the carousel looks magnificent. love the photos.
The carousel and horses are beautiful. A throwback to a different era, where dreams were important - didn't we as kids want to ride a colorful horse into dreamland?
That's a gorgeous carousel. We've got a similar one (though not as big) in the middle of our city. I don't dare put Elijah on it yet though - he's much too little.
What an incredibly beautiful carousel!
Wonderful photos! I love carousels and may just have to hunt for one to photograph.
Happy (Belated)Ruby Tuesday. Thanks for visiting my blog ;-)
P.S. The Patti comment above was actually from my husband Ralph
