Ruby Tuesday #1

Ruby Tuesday is hosted by The Teach over at Work of the Poet.  I found out about it from Quilly at Quilly's Pacific...Paridise?  I thought it would be fun to try to do.  One simply has to post a picture with red in it.  From what I gather it doesn't have to be a lot of red, but it does have to be a picture taken by me.
I'll start with a little red along with a beautiful butterfly.  This was taken at the Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN this past June.   The Butterfly tent was amazing.  I wish I had been able to stay longer.

Here's one with a lot of red.  This was also taken at Como.  I was in the Sunken Garden at the Conservatory.  If you ever get a chance to go, do.  It's lovely :)

Thank you for stopping by and thank you to Work of the Poet for hosting :)

So glad you are joining Ruby Tuesday. Love the combination of a photo with a bit of red and one that sings of red. Such a delicate butterfly.

Beautiful pictures ! It's so long ago I haven't seen a butterfly, I don't know where they are. Years ago we had a lot in our garden.

Just beautiful! I think the butterfly should hop over to the flowers. It's a virtual world. Anything is possible...

Thanks for the visit this morning.

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday! What a debut!

the butterfly and the flower are stunning

I laughed and sympathized over your profile quote. I've been a single mom since my son was 3. Many times it was iffy as to whether either one of us would survive.

Guess what! We did! He's 35 and a wonderful man. And I'm still alive to tell about it. :)

Wow! Both beautiful shots. That butterfly is enriched by that little bit of red contrast and the flowers are just plain beautiful.

Dear Minkydo,
Charming nickname.
How patient must a person be to catch a photo of a butterfly.
I guess I will never be there. Thrilling, though, that you are, and can take me a step further in the land of elusive zoology.
