New weeklong photo challenge: Bridging the Gap

Alice over at I Was Born2Cree8 has a new meme going on this week.  It's all about Bridges.  Please take a  moment to stop by her blog for a visit and to find other participants.

I don't know if I have enough bridge pictures to last the week, but I am going to try to participate as long as I can.

These are from an old bridge in Irvine Park which is located in Chippewa Falls, WI.  I believe cars once used this bridge, but obviously it's not safe enough now.  It's safe for walking still.  The last picture is looking down from the bridge.  The photos are from June/July 2007.

Thank you for stopping by and please head on over to Alice's blog for more fun with bridges.

Lovely green. I would like to visit the bridge and look down on the stream.

I'm glad you're playing!

I love it - my kind of country - a place to walk, relax and enjoy.

That's a lovely bridge. I think the bridges in woods are so pretty.

What great pictures! I especially like the second one. They remind me of The Bridges of Madison County.

WHAT a neat bridge! And I LOVE that first shot taken through the trees! Just a peek of the bridge! Very nice!!! Love the shot that shows the rather twisted floor too!
